Our Story

Inspired by caregiving, designed with dignity in mind

ForG Medical was born out of compassion — for a mother’s struggle and a father’s devotion. When founder and CEO Randy Ching, a biomechanical engineer and professor, watched his mother lose independence and his father become her caregiver, he saw both the challenge and the love behind caregiving. Together with his wife, Joan Ching, a nurse scientist and quality improvement leader, Randy set out to design a simple, dignified solution that could help women everywhere maintain independence, safety, and confidence.

What began as a deeply personal project grew into a shared mission: to make it easier for women to urinate safely and independently when the bathroom isn’t readily accessible. The result is the P-funnel™—a non-invasive, evidence-based device designed to support women of all levels of incontinence, and to bring dignity, comfort, and empowerment to both users and caregivers.
